Teamz is like normal fantasy football but with a twist: you pick teams not players.
Each week you have a budget to spend on a fresh set of teams from across Europe’s top leagues. Each team's price is based on their stats to date.
Your teams will score points based on the outcome of their matches and how many goals they score and concede. See 'Scoring points' information below.
Once you've picked your teams, you'll compete in Leagues (every week, month, season) and Cups (month-long knockout competitions).
Each of your picked teams will score points based on the outcome of their match.
Extra points are awarded if you pick an Underdog that beats a team with a superior star rating. The greater the difference in star rating between the two teams, the greater the bonus.
There are three types of League on Teamz:
1) Divisions: Attempt to gain promotion and avoid relegation each week within a 30-man Division.
2) All users league: Weekly, Monthly and Season competition containing all Teamz users.
3) Private leagues Weekly, Monthly and Season competition for just you and your mates. Create a private league >
League winners will see silverware added to their Trophy Cabinet.
Winners of Leagues will be decided based on the following criteria (in this order): Points, GD, Wins, Clean sheets.
Each calendar month a new knock-out cup competition starts.
You will be drawn against another user in a one-on-one Matchup each round. The winner of each Matchup progresses to the next round. Losers will play in friendlies until the next month.
Cup winners will see silverware added to their Trophy Cabinet.
Winners of Matchups will be decided based on the following criteria (in this order): Points, GD, Wins, Clean sheets, Total pts this month.
Your Teamz prestige is presented on your profile as a Level badge.
The five different Levels are Amateur, Semi Pro, Pro, World Class and All star.
Each week you have the opportunity to Level-up by completing a set of challenges (e.g. score 200 points / keep 3 clean sheets).
Challenges roll over from week-to-week.
Each Level comes with a minimum number of points you must score to avoid being relegated to the Level below.
